My head hurts in the lower left side of my skull the Dr's I have seen say tension headache or a muscle spasm I have had the headache since Dec 25th ?
Most likely cause: If the pain is aching or bank like, not accompanied by nausea or vomiting, if not throbbing, if it is more of a moderate grade pain that doesn't interfere with your ability to function, it is more than likely a tension type. I am assuming you have had a CT scan or MRI.See 2 more doctor answers
Is there one medicine for spasticity and muscle spasms? Associated with neuropathy. Which is recommended??
Hard to say: This could be coming from the back of your neck. The cervical muscles attach to the base of your skull so this may be the source of the spasms.
Yes it is possible: Yes, there are muscles on your face and head and they can go into spasm much like any other muscle. It is less common than other areas of the body such as the back, but it is possible. Insufficient hydration is a cause of muscle spasms. See you pcp if the spasm is not going away. Hope that helps!
Muscle spasms: Usually a muscle spasm happens around the spine when it tries to "stabilize" the spine during a strain. When you strain it during sleep in a bad position or when you turn abruptly the wrong way, the spasm lasts long after the uncomfortable event is done. In order for it to go away, spine needs to be realigned, and the muscles need to relax. Sometimes heat helps that or muscle relaxants or yoga etc.

Tension : You might have tension, headache, anxiety. That may explain why your anxiety medicine helps. When in doubt see your doctor.
Stress, muscle spasms (face), headaches that come and go Family has stopped taking my health concerns seriously, scared of disease. What should I do?
See a doctor: Cramps can occur for a variety of reasons and so may need examination and tests. Facial cramps in particular can indicate the possibility of low blood calcium or could indicate the possibility of dystonias such as blepharospasm which sometimes have treatments for them. Recommend consultation with a doctor to consider examination and tests.
Stress and spasm: Muscle spasms can be the result of tension. Massage can be helpful in the acute stage of a muscle spasm. Progressive muscle relaxation can be a tool that you can learn from a stress management program or from a recording, or stress reduction workbook, or an app.See 1 more doctor answer
Several things: It could be due to trauma, like whiplash injuries or heavy work. Neck degenerative arthritis can do this. Irritation of some of the small nerves to the neck muscles are a possibility. If it is not getting better, talk to your primary doctor or a specialist who takes care of neck problems.

Need a vacation:
Myofascial Pain Syndrome: get a massage. Consider a professional counselor to address those things in your life that you do have control over, and change what you can. Cheaper to go on that perfect vacation than counseling. To love other must first respect self and believe you are worthy of good for you. Then give from reserve.
Should my aunt be concerned about recent muscle spasms? My aunt is 48 and in the past year and a half i've noticed that her neck, head, and shoulder area spasms. At first it looked as if she were tossing hair from her face, but now it happens more and mor
Muscle : Muscle spasm are related to many thing, they usually " hurt" and the patient does complain of pain and discomfort. If this is not the case , anatomical alterations of the cervical spine might give you an impresion of muscle shortening if that is what you are refering to and is positional. Diffuse bilateral changes in the neck and the face and head are migh be related to a myofascial syndrome , but again this again will bgive pain and discomfort . It is hard to figure out what might be happening to your aunt . She will have to attend a medical consultation in order to clarify what is happening.See 1 more doctor answer

Use NSAIDs: Anti-inflammatory could help as first step, if pain and spasm persists then see your doctor.
Evaluation: The head pressure and spasms could be from a pinched nerve in your neck or spasming in the muscles of the neck. The numbness in the face is a little more concerning though. Is it just on one side? Is it just your lips? Is the numbness constant or getting worse? Regardless, I would recommend seeing your doctor or an urgent care for evaluation now.
I have continuous pain and muscle spasms on my entire right side body (from head to toe). What is it? Drs can't find a diagnosis.
Good question!: More history would be helpful including when it started etc. There are lesions in the brain which could result in one sided pain or muscle spasms., but they are quite rare. I would tend to look for a practitioner skilled in Chinese medicine/acupuncture for a possible solution. Another option might be a somatization disorder related to previous trauma coming from your right side.

See your physician: There are many types of headaches (migraine, tension, cluster) and many reasons for each type. Alternatively, you could have sinus or other issues.
