Give it a few days: This is a common therapy for what you describe. I would give it a few days to look better before asking your doctor to reassess the situation. I've always had puffy lower eyelids in the morning, but now my upper eyelids get puffy too. Is this normal?
Maybe: Puffiness of the lower and upper lids can result from fluid retention, sometimes worse in the morning due to lying horizontally while sleeping. When you stand up, gravity pulls the fluid down. Stye: It sounds like an acute blocked oil gland of the eyelid, or stye. Discontinue contact lens wear and begin a hot compress routine to help bring the backed up secretions to a head. A gentle massage of the area after a 10' hot compress helps. Repeat 2 to 4 times daily. Cleansing the lashes and eyelids with diluted baby shampoo removes bacteria which aides recovery. After a few days , if no help c md. ...Read more

Main concerns relate to under-correction (not enough fat/skin removed or muscle not tightened adequately) or over-correction (too much fat/skin removed). The result may be less improvement than desired with under-correction versus hollowing, rounding or a pulled-down appearance with over-correction.

Open and drain: if it is bothering you it can be opened and drained or removed in a five minute office procedure. Otherwise there is no harm in leaving it alone. I assume you have used hot compresses four times daily as well as a mild antibiotic drop at acute onset already. If not, that is still worth a one week trial. ...Read more

Probably Stye: If this occurred rather suddenly, it probably is a stye, which is a blocked oil gland of the eyelid. After a week, the stye should nearly resolve. ...Read more
