I was admitted to the hospital Wednesday. They diagnosed me with stones, they didn't do an ultrasound to see how many but the sharp pain, naseaua, and cramping has gone. But I still have lower back pain and frequent urination. Is that normal?

I was admitted to the hospital Wednesday. They diagnosed me with stones, they didn't do an ultrasound to see how many but the sharp pain, naseaua, and cramping has gone. But I still have lower back pain and frequent urination. Is that normal?

Stones: Presumably kidney stones are treated with hydration and analgesia. Generally they are diagnosed with history and physical and aided by ultrasound and Xray IVP. Follow up is recommended to Pcp or a urologist and straining urine to catch stones for diagnosis and prevention ...Read more

Serum pregnancy test: Have you had a SERUM pregnancy test? Have you performed a 2nd home pregnancy test? Have you had a urine analysis done to look for an infectious disease? Have you called your OB/GYN or PCP yet?
