Neg. Preg. Test, extreme lower back pain, bleeding bright red and brown discharge one week before expected period. Not normal for me, pregnant?
Trust the test: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. Doesn't: Sound normal but could be depending on how heavy the flow. You can bleed up to 6 weeks post partum and oxytocin is released and makes the uterus crams them the blood flows. Especially if you are nursing. Why you would have pain as you describe I don't know. Give your OB as call just for reassurance if nothing else. ...Read more

You may be getting your period a few days early, which is within the normal pattern.
Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.
