Constant lower abdominal cramping 8 DPO from artifical insemination that feels like menstrual cramps, and low back pain. When to test? All are negati

Pregnancy testing?: A pregnancy test, done correctly, gives a reliable result 3 weeks after insemination or sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and thus lead to a repeat test. If a woman gets her normal regular period, then she is not pregnant. ...Read more

What are liver function tests and what conditions are they looking for? Does liver cause constant nausea low back pain low appetite abdomen feel full?

What are liver function tests and what conditions are they looking for? Does liver cause constant nausea low back pain low appetite abdomen feel full?

MANY TESTS/REASONS: Liver function studies are tests that measure the way the liver is working. Some measure the effectiveness of the liver cells themselves others measure the "excretion" of the enzymes and "end products" of metabolism.
The symptoms you mention are VERY NON-SPECIFIC and may be due to abnormal liver function as well as a host of gastrointestinal conditions.
Hope this helps

I'm having cramps, low back pain, gassy, peeing a lot, nausea, moody, and bloated. Had a period 2 weeks ago. Could I be pregnant?

Maybe not, but...: It can be hard to tell if a woman is pregnant because many of the symptoms seen in early pregnancy can also happen in non-pregnant women. A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result if done correctly. One can test about 3 weeks after sex (when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. An ob-gyn doctor can evaluate any persistent or worrisome symptoms. ...Read more
