Difficult: Pain is tough. Is it acute or chronic? If acute consider first the bladder. Sometimes pain can have more than one cause, did the onset occur simultaneously? Could it be menstrually related. This is a difficult one. Try 2 aleve (naproxen) 2x per day and go with bladder treatment if having to pee at nigh more than twice. Let's say the pain occurs all the time. It may be the physio is not helping. In such a case, an MRI of the lumbar spine or EMG test may help determine what's wrong.
Perhaps the problem is worse with movement. That may indicate a need to see an orthopedic specialist.
