Could be many things: Nausea and loss of appetite could really be a symptoms of severe pain itself (coming from anywhere) or could be a upper GI problem (esophagus, stomach, gallbladder, pancrease, (pancrelipase) ect). The low back pain may be related or not and is difficult to tell you without a full work up and lots of tests. Restlessness may also be from the pain. May take a while.: If you truly had a stomach infection then it will take a while to clear. The gas is all part of the process of getting back to normal. If you are having a lot of stress besides this can contribute to the gas and GI upset. You need to talk this over with your doc and plan the best treatment for you together.
