I'm 24 and have been have a lot of lower back pain mostly on the left side even hurts to bend over I was wondering what could be going on?
Most cases I see are due to sitters disease or gait (ex; foot position). But you need to identify the origin and rule out more serious causes. Any neurologic issues like numbness in the legs, no muscle weakness, no fever, no urinary pain, fever, genital discharge, acute trauma, insect bites, etc

I am having severe lower back pain made worse when I bend over. Do you have any idea what caused this?
Disc pain: Pain in the low back made worse with bending forward is typically a problem with the lumbar disc (because more pressure is put through the disc in this position) or just simply the muscles in the lumbar spine (as they contract to keep someone from falling over). A vertebral compression fracture is also possible, but is more common in patients over 55 secondary to osteoporosis. ...Read more

Check with neuro:
If you're having new onset headaches when bending at the waist and back pain which wasn't there before then, you could have several things...but with the presence of a shunt I wouldn't waste any time. Either get to your neurologist or neurosurgeon to get things looked at quickly. Don't hang out waiting for more to develop.
