Difficult to tell: Without physical exam, but it sounds like it could be facet arthopathy/arthritis. This can often be felt in the back on one side often with radiation around to the side of the flank or feel like a sharp stabbing pain from the back forward. You also have had a c-section, which could lead to different fascial strains or muscular issues that could produce this. I would recommend a good physical exam. ...Read more

Go paleo: Avoid grains, lentils, potatoes, milk products (only grass fed butter is OK).
Consume flesh foods, plenty of healthy fats, vegetables.
Get some sunshine daily or vitD3 (10,000 IU/day)/K2 (200mg/day). Take probiotic (Probonix) daily. Your symptoms should improve in 1 month. check with a GI to make sure that there isn't anything dangerous.
