Get diagnosed: Your sed rate and CRP are indicative of significant inflammation and future high risk. The low back is surely part of all of this, and may well be a sign of a rheumatological disorder. See an arthritis specialist asap, and get this pinned down. The leg tingling could well be an emerging peripheral nerve problem. ...Read more

This requires eval: Your symptoms and signs (white count of 14, 800) are numerous and only an in-person evaluation/examination can adequately assess them. I might think of some form of infectious colitis with your mucus BM's and elevated WBC count; the numbness/tingling and pain could be something entirely different. I believe the best advice is go to ER (or your doc's office if you can get in today!) Good wishes:) ...Read more

I have recently been stressed out and sleeping an average of 6 hours a night which is way less than normal. Cause of lower back pain/tingling?

See a dr.: 6 hours of sleep a night is on the lower end of the recommended range. I would suggest that you see your dr. To be evaluated. It may improve...: Most cases of back pain will improve, especially with conservative therapies. I recently started having lower back pain that is shooting down both of my thighs but mostly on my left side all the way down to my foot. Help please?

Sciatica?: Sounds like you have sciatica, that is some pressure on the sciatic nerve that causes pain to radiate down the back of the leg (where the sciatic nerve runs). The pain is usually described as "electric" and may be associated with numbness and tingling. The fix is to figure out what is compressing the sciatic nerve. How long does tingling happen before first outbreak of herpes. I get itching neck pain lower back pain now tingling for over 4 days now?

This isn't herpes: For initial herpes, usually no tingling before sores appear. Tingling is mainly a symptom of recurrent herpes; in that case, it lasts only a day or two before the outbreak itself shows up. Your symptoms don't sound at all like herpes, which doesn't cause tingling without sores and rarely if ever causes low back pain. So good news, this isn't herpes. Rarely a back pain work-up may find deep infection in the back bone and disk which would require antibiotics, usually much stronger antibiotics then cephalexin.

I would recommend work up by primary care doctor. Usual initial treatments include rest, anti-inflammatory medications, muscle relaxants, physical therapy. Good luck! ...Read more
