2 weeks after my period I started been experiencing 2 days of light spotting followed by 2 days of heavy spotting with clots ranging from dime to quarter size as well as lower back pain and cramping should I be concerned that it may be miscarrying or can

Dysfunctional clots: Although if your "period" was on time, and normal as usual, it is unusual for clots to occur two weeks after a cycle at age 28. Irregular spotting and clots with cramping can indicate an ectopic pregnancy, and your "period" might just have been bleeding and not a "real period". Get a serum HCG test, and if negative, see your healthcare provider for an exam and ultrasound. ...Read more

I am experiencing heavy bleeding with huge blood clots cramping and lower back pain. Can this be a sign of miscarriage?

Yes: Sometimes a woman can miscarry without actually missing a period, since you didn't mention your period, I'm going to assume this might be the case with your question. Blood clots can mean miscarriage, can also mean excess estrogen or excess progesterone. What are signs of misscarrige. I'm having low back pain with a mucousy red discharge?

POSSIBLE: First, you have established you are pregnant--correct?
Statistically, most miscarriages are 'just missed periods' --they happen before you know it. Most 1st trimester losses (<12 weeks along) occur with bleeding and pain. However a certain percentage (maybe 30%) of pregnancies with 'some early bleeding' still end up delivering normal babies-only time will tell. So=get seen, get labs, ultrasound. ...Read more
