Hello, i've had a lower back pain for almost 4 years now. In the worst cases my left side of my hip swells. I was wondering is I have sciatica.

Let's say the pain occurs all the time. It may be the physio is not helping. In such a case, an MRI of the lumbar spine or EMG test may help determine what's wrong.

Perhaps the problem is worse with movement. That may indicate a need to see an orthopedic specialist.
