Be seen ASAP!: If you are in so much pain that you can barely move, you may not want to wait until Wednesday to be seen. Your symptoms could be a number of different things including an ectopic pregnancy, or pelvic infection. These can be serious so its important not to wait too long to get checked out. Best wishes!

Last week I had a clump of clear discharge come out went to dr cervix is closed. Was having cramps and lower back pain but no uti. Now the pains worse?

Discharge: Since your pregnant, and the discharge is clear it may be normal. But I don't like the back pain issue. You need an u/a, and then an ultrasound since your pregnant, not xrays, ct scans since you are pregnant. Also a culture of the discharged may help.

Menstrual cramps: And uterine spasm are possibilities as is a urinary infection. It would be prudent to get a full GYN exam and pelvic ultrasound. OK to use Advil or Aleve (naproxen) for cramping pain if not allergic.

I'm having stabbing pains in lower left back near kidneys... I've had urine sample checked and it's clear, some stomach cramps too. Any advice please?

I'm having stabbing pains in lower left back near kidneys... I've had urine sample checked and it's clear, some stomach cramps too. Any advice please?

See below: Though not absolute, the presence of a normal urinalysis would usually rule out the urinary tract, and such common problems as UTIs and kidney stones, as the cause of your symptoms. I would recommend that you see your primary care physician for a more complete history and physical exam to help direct further evaluation and testing. A CT scan abd/pelvis may or may not be recommended.

Lower back and stomach slight cramping, had baby 4 months ago. Not really painful just scared why I have this.?

Postnatal pains: Hello the low back pain is common. The lumbar spine does a lot of moulding to accomadate the fetus and as this returns to normal you have aches. They do go away. Same for uterine cramps as the uterus involutes back to normal size. As long as there is no heavy bleeding and severe cramps this sounds normal. Thx

"Severe" = Dr. Visit: "Severe cramps" means a trip to the doctor for an exam, and a pregnancy test. Pregnancy is the most common cause of a missed period. If not pregnant, other causes of a late or missed period include: excessive weight loss or weight gain, increased exercising, emotional stress, having an illness, traveling, medicines (especially birth control pills), hormonal disorders, etc…

Get checked: You are considered full term and if you are having labor symptoms best to get checked. If you are not in active labor and your cervix remains closed and long, the worse thing that can happen is going back home. All the best to you and the almost new baby.

I am 6 weeks 3 days and I am having cramps in my stomach and lower back pains is this normal?

Maybe.: If you are having such symptoms at 6 weeks, you may be experiencing the furst stages of a miscarriage, or you may be hurting from the growing uterus that stretching its ligaments as the live embryo is getting it larger. If your symptoms worsen, I would recommend seeing your gynecologist to assure fetal viability. Take Folic Acid 1-5 mg daily orally! Best of luck!

What to do if I have cramping lower left abdomen and clear discharge?

Depends: There are too many scenarios to tell you what to do, however, think about things like how severe and how long the problem has been going on. The more severe, and the shorter duration would push you more towards seeking medical attention sooner rather than later. OK to start with your primary care provider. Hope this helps!
