I have a 93mm unilocular midline ovarian cyst, possibly cystadenoma. Pain in lower buttock down leg, very restricted urination.
Need removal: Typically a CA-125 level would be checked to help determine the likelihood of malignancy. Sounds low based on the US findings. Regardless, the mass should be removed to relieve your symptoms and so that a pathologist can evaluate the ovary. Most times both tubes and ovaries would be removed and sometimes the uterus. Discuss with surgeon to make the best decision. Hope this helps. ...Read more
Experiencing lower abdomen pain, lower back pain, on my right side & missed period. also just discovered a cyst on my right lower neck region. Related?

Alternatively the symptoms can be due to a simple Urinary tract infection. See a Dr to get your urine tested ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

The lack of periods could be related to pregnancy, hormonal imbalances or low body fat/athletic activity. The back pain can certainly come from the pelvic issues or can be the spine itself. 4cm hemorrhagic ovarian cyst, discovered today. I have awful right sided lower pelvic, hip, back and right rib pain. Is this the cause?
Maybe 2 Types: There are several possibilities, but 2 main/common types, if you're talking about skin. Sebaceous cysts are just wax glands that get plugged. Depending on the size they may be treated with heat packs or may need to be surgically excised. Lipomas are fatty blobs that are softer and deeper. Neither are emergencies, but in the low back area may present a mechanical problem if they're at the beltline. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
