Multiple problems: You has a whole host of problems. First of all, you need to see your physician (p) to deal with your abnormal labs. I will address only a few of them due to space limitations. One of the causes of your high calcium is that you are on calcium, please stop it. You weight gain could be due to your high tsh. Thyroid hormone.: We all need thyroid hormones for proper health. If you had your thyroid removed, you will have to take thyroid replacement meds for the rest of your life. If you are taking them, the level has to be monitored to be sure you are getting enough for your body to function normally. Mild hyperthyroidism: Unless you are taking thyroid medication (and taking too much) this could mean mild hyperthyroidism. If your doc measured TSH, FT3 and FT4, (s)he must have suspected something. Most likely cause of hyperthyroidism in a 27 yo woman is Graves disease or one of several forms of thyroiditis. You may need to see an Endocrinologist. ...Read more

It would not usually cause decreased kidney function as suggested by a low egfr (estimated glomerular filtration rate) or breakdown of red blood cells (hemolysis). Cortisol: This is a very complex system. In very basic terms cortisol is produced in response to stress and feeds back inhibiting production of itself (inhibiting crh and acth). Cortisol also inhibits TSH production (as well as growth hormone, estrogen, testosterone and lh production). Thus limiting the response to stress. Remember: Hyperthyroidism - which appears to be the case with based on your biochemical studies - can present with a spectrum of symptoms. Not everyone has tremor, palpitations, anxiety, emotional lability, weakness, heat intolerance, increased perspiration, and/or weight loss.
