Not sure.: Could be that you are underdosed in your thyroid replacement hormone. I am not sure if 0.406 is your current TSH or not. If it is, it is hard to explain. If this doesn't clear up in a short while you might consider repeating your TSH and using a small dose of t3 (liothyronine). ...Read more
Hi my TSH 3rd generation result is 100. I have always been overweight and have recently gained a little bit of weight. Have irregular periods and recently there has been issue of constipation.
It seems I would fall into the category of hypo-thyroidism.
I'm not sure what: ..units are being used to measure your TSH level, but 100??? In the USA, the standard value that labs use to measure TSH is microunits/ml and normal values range from 0.4 to 4.0 microunits/ml. If you're TSH is 100 mcu/ml, then definitely something's wrong with your thyroid or the hormones regulating it. This test result requires follow up and either clarification or treatment. ...Read more
I have hashimito's thyroidism, hypothyroidism, what foods should I avoid? Am taking T4 50mg during the week, T4 75mg at weekends. Thank you.
TSH 1.15 uIU/ml - T4 1.24 ng/dl but l've all symptoms of Hypothyroid: chronic fatigue, low temp (36°≥), severe constipation, easy weight gain, etc?

If these tests are indeed normal, then your symptoms are not from hypothyroidism, which is too bad, since thyroid would be easy to treat. Best to talk to your doctor about what else this can be. ...Read more
