Is there any advantage to using pH balanced feminine wash over any other type of soap?

Probably not: Probably not. The use of soap in general and certainly douching is not generally recommended. In most cases it is not good to interrupt the bacterial flora present in the normal state in the vagina. Always seek balance and although ph is important in the vagina using a ph balanced soap is not likely to assist or help in anyway. ...Read more

Been using vagisial wash for pH balance for a long time and recently ran out and used soap now have pain bumps on my vaginal what could they be?

The outer part of the vagina, the vulva, can be washed with a gentle soap, but the vagina (the most inside of the labia or lips), doesn't need to be washed. The painful bumps may be an allergic reaction to the soap. If doesn't go away soon and you are sexually active, make appt for exam to ensure not a std. ...Read more

What is the best soap to use for a fresh clean vagina without disturbing the PH balance?? Dial soap is too harsh for me.

Any without ..: Color or perfumes added. That being said you should only be using it to clean the outside of the vagina, the folds of the labia. You should not be inserting soap inside the vagina. There is no need to and it can cause significant irritation. The vagina cleans itself and any "cleaner/douche" shouldn't be used internally as it can cause problems. ...Read more
