Contradictory Tb tst: Quantiferon-TB(the blood test) and the PPD(skin test) are not recommended together. The quantiferon test has more sensitivity/specificity(measures for how good medical tests are) but the gold standard is culturing the bacteria from either tissue or sputum which should be attempted if their is clinical suspicion for TB infection. ...Read more

Could be others: Depending on your exposure to ticks in your neck of the woods, you should have also been tested for other tick-borne illnesses since they travel in packs (Anaplasma, Babesia, Human granulocytic/monocytic Erlichiosis, others).
