Why do some people's bodies need low-carb, high protein/fat diets while others require high-carb low-fat?
Very limited: Food is a combo of protein, carb, fat. Low sugar-easy. Low fat-easy, low carb-easy, high protein and vegan with all the other restrictions-really hard. Excess protein actually can inhibit your production and secretion of testosterone. Also testosterone is made from cholesterol. So I would not recommend a "high protein", "low fat" diet.
Depending on your weight and activity level, I would recommend 6-8 ounces of protein (and fat) in the form of meat or fish or eggs or cheese or poultry 3 times each day. Keep your carbs fairly low. ...Read more
Can you tell me in the gym. But I'm just curious what a low-fat, low-calorie, high protein diet will do to my body. Will I gain weight?
On total calories in versus out. WIth exercise, the weight loss WON'T be all from muscle loss; without it, that is likely to occur.
10xweight = calories used daily
100-500 additional / hr from exercise; 4000 calories is a pound.

It doesn't help: The tamoxifen doesn't help. I would stay with the 1200 calorie diet (track it to be sure that's really your intake). I would then start increasing the exercise.
