My blood and urine test result are worrying me. it shows high Uric acid levels and traces of blood in urine.

My blood and urine test result are worrying me. it shows high Uric acid levels and traces of blood in urine.

See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, uric acid levels in urine are not meaningful, it is the blood level that counts. A few red cells in urine are not abnormal, and trace may be the same. It would be prudent to discuss the issue with your doctor who ordered the tests. ...Read more

High protein level in blood results?

High protein level in blood results?

HIgh protein level: High blood protein (hbp) level can be caused by dehydration causing bengin elevation of proteins. Other more serious causes of hbp are chronic inflammation, ameyloidosis, hiv/aids, multiple myeloma and monoclonical gammopathies. I would suggest your seeing an hematologist if the cause of your hbp is not due to dehydration as soon as you can to arrive at the correct cause of your hbp level. ...Read more

Will high bloodsugar cause low creatin levels in urine? I had blood sugar levels of 300 and above and recently took a drug test that came back having low creatin levels.

Will high bloodsugar cause low creatin levels in urine? I had blood sugar levels of 300 and above and recently took a drug test that came back having low creatin levels.

Diluted urine: A low creatinine is not from elevated sugars, but from excessive water drinking, which is common in diabetics. It means you are drinking enough water to dilute your urine. It is not dangerous, but most drug tests will be considered "adulterated" - a failed test - if the creatinine is below 20. Get your diabetes under control asap. Continued high sugars are dangerous to your health. ...Read more

Any feedback on high urinary output without excessive intake, electrolytes off in blood and 24hr urine. Also, High protein in urine, low nitrogen ua?

Nephrologist: A kidney specialist is best qualified to evaluate and advise you. The nephrologist will order the appropriate tests and diagnose your problem. ...Read more

Does high monocytes and low amount of WBC in blood test indicate infection? and what does high amorphous sediment in urine test mean?

Does high monocytes and low amount of WBC in blood test indicate infection? and what does high amorphous sediment in urine test mean?

These mean nothing: Only a very high absolutely monocyte count is of any concern if you feel well, and low WBC is of concern if and only if lymphs or neuts are way-way low. If you're sick, this whispers "rule out typhoid". Amorphous sediment is simply stuff that was soluble at body temperature but crystallized as the urine cooled. It means nothing at all. ...Read more

1260mg of Uric acid in urine, levels on blood 4.5 what could cause these high urine reading. Total volume was 2600ml urine.

Diet. Stop worrying.: The amount of uric acid that you put out daily is the result of how much DNA and RNA you metabolize. Unless you have considerable ongoing abnormal cell turnover (usually extra cell turnover in your marrow due to illness which will usually be obvious), this is mostly the result of your food preferences. A trip to the steak house can produce this lab result, and the health concern is zero. ...Read more

High creatinine level in 24h urine but normal in blood work. What can that be from pls.

Here are 2 causes: Here are two possibilities: 1. You collected more than 24 hours' urine. What are possible reasons for normal cortisol levels in the blood but high levels in the urine?

Need More tests: A single blood sample may not accurately reflect cortisol levels as peak values may have occurred at a different point during the daily cycle, producing a normal blood sample when cortisol levels are actually elevated. The elevation would be detected, however, by 24-hour urine cortisol levels. High urine cortisol can be caused by cushing's, lung cancer, adrenal tumors. ...Read more

Proteinuria: A normal amount of proteinuria (p) per day is 80 mg. You mom needs to have a neprhologist order a 24 hour urine for p to see how much of it she has.
