Help please! Could cancer cause low blood pressure?

Help please! Could cancer cause low blood pressure?

Not directly: Low BP can occur in cancer due to dehydration or severe infections and some chemotherapy agents. It can also occur if there has been significant weight loss. But isolated low blood pressure in someone who is otherwise healthy is unlikely to be due to cancer.

Can having your thyroid removed due to thyroid cancer cause very low blood pressure 80/60?

Can having your thyroid removed due to thyroid cancer cause very low blood pressure 80/60?

Get checked: If you have had adequate thyroid replacement, your BP should not be affected by the thyroid removal. One of the potential complications is having the parathyroid removed or damaged and thus lowering your supply of parathyroid hormone as well. Have you had other symptoms aside from the low blood pressure? If your BP has dropped more than 20 mm, you need to check with your doctor to find out why

Low carb food items such as flesh foods, eggs, non starchy vegetables, avocados, saturated fat (butter, ghee, coconut oil), olive oil are very effective. Get some sunshine daily. What is a too low blood pressure?

What is a too low blood pressure?

Symptomatic: It's too low if you have symptoms for example, there are people that walk around with blood pressure of 90/50 without any problems. There are others who are dizzy, wobbly and feel horrendous. Some of these general guidelines go out the window dealing with really sick people, intensive care etc. Different set of rules in that case.

Depends: Low BP or "hypotension" (less than 120/80) is always bad if happened all of a sudden. It has got several reasons. Of those reasons the common bad ones are 1)severe dehydration, any cause of 2)bleeding, any where in our body, 3)infections, hormonal dysfunction, and 4) heart conditions with failure, or hear attacks, to name a few.
