Too soon for...: 3-4 days after having sex is too soon for symptoms to be related to implantation of a baby embryo. Also, one does not know that any symptoms are due to implantation until after one has a proven pregnancy, usually by a pregnancy test 3 weeks after sex. If truly pregnant, then one can look back and say the symptoms MIGHT have been related to implantation (there are other causes of symptoms). ...Read more

Pain: Mirena (levonorgestrel) typically causes no pain if placed correctly but if your pain started soon after the placement of mirena, (levonorgestrel) then there is a chance of it causing it. No periods is common with mirena, (levonorgestrel) though, but that should not be causing pain. Other possible causes of your pain might be urinary tract infection, kidney stones, etc. See your doc. ...Read more
