Probably not.: Keeping your skin hydrated is always a good thing, but it's no guarantee that you will avoid stretch marks. For every product that people swear works like a miracle, you'll find others posting that the same cream didn't work. The wt gain problem: Avoid excessive/rapid wt gain and minimize long hot shower/bath, minimize use of body washes/scrubbing, use of humidifer in winter/cold season, and minimize use of meds if not needed. Applying moisturing lotion such as aquaphor 2-3x/day, especially after shower/bath--soft skin stretches better. If not adequate, consult doc as u may need prescription meds.
