Okay first time having a baby, I woke up this morning at 2:30 am with cramping pains, getting worse I lost mucus plug over weekend, what do I do? 36 w
Call OB: That seems obvious to me. Call your ob.
Get checked: Any cramping at this stage needs to be checked to make sure you are not in labor, or started to dilate.
No not normal: Please call your OB need to make sure u are not trying to go into premature labor.
I'm 39 weeks, and lost my mucus plug with slight cramps. And I'm extremely tired, could this be labor?
Labor?: I'll assume that this is your first pregnancy. Towards end of pregnancy, when your cervix begins to dilate, you can see a lot of mucus discharge. This is not labor. It maybe 2-3 more weeks before labor begins (going beyond 42 weeks is not safe). You will know when you are in labor. Labor contractions last 40-60 seconds and are quite strong. When they are every 4 minutes and don't stop, = labor.
I just lost my mucus plug today was having contractions off and on today, after I lost my plug shortly after I started having cramping.?
Maybe ok: If you're more than 37 weeks pregnant, it's all a good sign. If you're gestational age is less than 37 weeks, call your doctor.
Hi. I'm 37 and 1 and lost huge chunks of my mucus plug with blood yesterday and today. Strong cramps and back pain both days. Should I go to L&D?
40weeks cramping started today lost mucus plug today shoul I go to hospital or wait till water breaks. 1st child?
Labor: It's best to wait until you are in labor. Some good general rules are contractions five minutes apart for at least an hour, when your water breaks or bleeding like a period.
I'm 27 weeks with fraternal twins and I lost my entire mucus plug not sure what to do. I'm still feeling movement and have only had few cramps.
LOST MUCUS PLUG: Call you doctor immediately and get instructions on what to do.
I'm 34 weeks and lost what I think was my mucus plug last night. I woke up this morning and have had back pain as well as cramping all day long.
Call your doc: It's possible to lose your mucus plug, but create another one. But, you have to wonder what may have allowed your mucus plug to come out early. You have to consider premature labor/dilation - mention it to your doctor.
I'm almost 36 weeks. I lost my mucus plug last night around 12.been having cramps in all areas & tightening in my belly. What should I look 4 next?
Labor: Call your doctor immediately and head to the hospital for labor pains All the best
I experienced spotting, cramps and cervical fluid that looks like the mucus plug photos on google. On CD20, not sure when I ovulated, what does it mean?
I lost my mucus plug today and am 37 weeks. Vomiting and cramps. How much sooner until I need to hit the hospital?
ASAP...: If you are having cramps and vomiting go to the ED as soon as possible. We cannot determine through this media how urgent is your situation but with those symptoms after losing mucous plug I would say you need immediate evaluation. Best wishes.
I'm 40 weeks, I started cramping this morning at 2:20, now this afternoon I lost my mucus plug (1:00). My water hasn't broken.... Am I in labor?
Could be: Sounds like could be early labor. If contractions get closer together, then would head to hospital.
I woke up to having to use the restroom 2x & am pretty sure I lost my mucus plug within both times (clear/bloody liquid). At my appt yesterday my cervix was still closed. I now keep waking up to random cramping. My next dr visit isn't until next Thursday.
Assuming you are: Pregnant, since you know about 'mucus plug' and 'cervix', I would call your OB doctor and ask. A strong relationship between the patient and doctor is an absolute must in regards to having babies. Good luck and congratulations on this beautiful journey.

Go to Hospital: You should get evaluated at Labor and Delivery for labor change. 34 weeks is still early. It I best to be seen today
