I have been experiencing loss of feeling on the left hand side of my body. Started about 1 year ago. ?
Having dump feeling in left hand and foot. Very afraid what it might be? ( currently taking erythrocyte for strep throat and Xanax (alprazolam) for anxiety.
Tell Dr ASAP: This might be side effect related and your doctor needs to help evaluate it. If being slowly taken off Xanax (alprazolam) works, it 's good (CBT therapy can reduce anxiety problems) but if there are still issues like those - neurology testing might be needed. Pinched nerve?: The median nerve and the ulnar nerve are 2 nerves that run through your wrist to innervate your hand. If either of these get compressed (pinched) you can develop numbness or tingling or pain in your fingers. Sounds like you're doing this to your ulnar nerve. This is called Cubital Tunnel Syndrome.
