The type of symptoms depend on the location of brain contusion. ...Read more

Odds of posterior epidural hematoma after hitting head on car approximately 11 hours out. No loss of conscienceless, or vomiting. Was lethargic though?
Hit in the back of the head with a foam dodgeball 12 hours ago. No loss of consciousness. No severe headache. Brain damage likely?
Not likely: Healthy 22 yr usually has a pretty hard-head. It has been 12 hours and you don't really have any concerning symptoms and so significant brain injury is highly highly unlikely. If u were 72 it would be a different story because of a possibility of a very slow bleed. So, just be careful playing sports/protect your head, otherwise you are lucky this episode. Good luck. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Had a traffic related head trauma. No obvious damage. How much chance i may develop memory loss or brain fog?
The chance is low: As long as you did not develop any bleeding inside your head, and as long as you do not have a history of repeated head injuries, a single head injury like this stands very little chance of getting you cognitive difficulties later on or any sort of brain fog. I would not spend time worrying about it. When i was a student i was honored to be able to study in the soviet union. I fondly remember the hospitality shown to us as a student group in the ukraine.Best wishes to you and your family in the upcoming holiday season. ...Read more

Sure to be migraine?: Not sure these are migraines. Given there was trauma, a post concussive headache is more likely. The symptoms are a bit different, and it should be possible to sort them out. Are the legs recovering? That is the most serious part here. If so, you can probably try certain treatments for the headaches. Rest is important.
