The key to losing weight is to eat less, but not all calories are created equal. Sugars & simple carbs from grains esp cause weight gain. Tough question. But the best answer is to decrease calorie intake and increase physical activity. Building more muscle helps, too, in that muscles require more calories to work! Look for lower fat foods that are high in protein and fiber. For many people, eating more fruits and vegetables is a simple way to get additional nutrients and fiber - and to fill you up. Good luck.

Make sure you exercise 90 minutes a day, don't skip meals, avoid soda, juice, dairy, alcohol and fried foods. Eat a healthy well balanced diet! also water, organic vegetable broth, green leafy vegetables, natural pickles, apples are great to fill you up so you dont feel hungry and they are very low in calories.

Eat fresh real food, not food from packages or mixes. Organic food, free of pesticides, is ideal. Eat brightly colored fruits and vegetables. If you eat meat, use it as a seasoning, rather than the main course. Avoid fried foods and sugar (added sugar, sugared drinks, alcohol, anything with high fructose corn syrup). Shop in the perimeter of the grocery store where the fresh products are located.

decrease your carbohydrate intake increase your protein. Stop soda, stop sugar, see your M.D. if you're having further problems. Question is how much weight you need to lose and how much do you weigh now. If you don't eat right, you'll never lose the weight.

Helpful weight loss diets have natural foods that take time to chew but contain few calories. Examples include carrots, celery, and iceberg lettuce (little/no salad dressing). When shopping for fruits, buy small ones no bigger than a tennis ball, because fruits have sugar. Drinks without calories include water and green tea. A calorie is a calorie, but surely avoid sugar & simple starch calories.
