I've been losing a large amount of hair recently and I've been gaining weight. I watch my calorie intake and exercise regularly. Why could this be?
My son has a big head. 50% and is small for height and weight 3% he eats like crazy but isn't growing. He is 29 months old, weighs 27 lbs.
I know a person's face can gain or lose weight, but is it possible for their head circumference also?

Given your question I feel that you need to have a visit with your medical provider and have some more labs drawn.
The inability to gain weight seems like too much thyroid....If that is the culprit.
