Bad Math: 1 lb fat=3500 calories not 350. You didn't mention your weight but in general a 1200 calorie diet will result in 1-2 lbs lost each week. You shouldn't go below that level in order to maintain adequate nutrition. Consider exercising more. Walking, treadmill, elliptical, swimming, cycling for 30 minutes 5 times per week. I : I am assuming that you were on a reduced calorie liquid diet. It can be problematic to do that for six weeks straight. If your caloric intake was too low, your metabolic rate would drop because your body perceived that you were going into starvation mode. Over time, you body will burn fewer and fewer calories. As a result, when you resumed a normal diet, because of the lowered metabolic rate you continue to burn fewer calories because your set point is off. Increase nutritional fiber. Avoid refined sugar ; junk carbohydrates. Avoid alcohol, sweetened juices, soda ; caffeinated beverages. Aim for 7.5 to 8 hrs of sleep / night.
