Clean one: You will have to visit with your prescribing doctor. Two ssris at any dose range have minimal drug-drug interactions via the p450 system: citalopram and escitalopram. Any ssri will reduce platelet aggregation and thus gently increase the chance for spontaneous or easy bruising, though it is a rare occurence. Is 200mg of COq 10 safe and effective for lowering blood pressure? Current meds are Zoloft losartan betapace and nexium (esomeprazole). Any interactions?
There are two forms: of CoQ10. Neither has been regulated by the FDA. (One form appears to have more antioxidant properties). Several conditions have been associated with low CoQ10 levels including HTN, heart failure, certain cancers, gingivitis, gastric ulcers, etc. Currently there has not been a consensus arrived at as to the BP lowering effects (due to lack of controlled studies). Probably ok: The amount of potassium in a glass of Gatorade is minimal and is unlikely to affect serum potassium levels, especially if kidney function is normal. Sugary drinks like Gatorade may not be all that healthy, though. I take losartan, coreg, (carvedilol) hydralozine, clonidine, amlodipine for HBP& thyroxine for under active thyroid. which drug could effect the affect cialis?
Symptoms?: Hi. Are you getting low blood pressure and/or dizziness when you take Cialis with your blood pressure drug regimen? I would think the hydrazine and the clonidine would be the most likely offenders based on mechanism of action. Generally losartan, Coreg, (carvedilol) and amlodipine are well tolerated with the Cialis family of drugs. But that's quite a BP combo; take my prediction with a grain of salt! Good luck ...Read more

Of the drugs listed: clonidine is the only one commonly associated with ED unless diuretics are involved. However, other factors may play a role: uncontrolled BP, elevated lipid levels (cholesterol, LDL, triglycerides), emotional factors, insulin resistance/diabetes.
