I take 100mg Losartan daily, I've lost weight, cut out caffeine and alcohol. And exercise regularly. My Bp is consistant 125/77. When can I half dose?

Is it safe to consume alcohol in moderation while taking 37.5 mg losartan and 40 mg betapace (sotalol)? I don't want to cause low blood pressure. BP 137/85

I prescribe a lot of Losartan, and I haven't had anyone (that I know of, anyway) who got migraines from it. However, medications are a common cause of headache.
When my pts think they might be having a side effect from a med, I tell them the only solution is to see what happens when they stop it. Talk to your doc.

Instead of focusing on the dose, in mg, one should focus on how well one's blood pressure is controlled and the any adverse side effects. My average BP is 142/82 but varies widely. Diastolic ranges from 66 to 104. Is this normal? I take losartan.
Good average for 69: BP level fluctuate throughout the day and is influenced by level of activities as well as our emotion. BP is probably lowest during your deepest, stage 4 of sleep.
