My knee is hurting bad now & cant sleep. my dr gave me Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) 10/325 1-2 tabs prn. i took 1 4hrs ago & did R.I.C.E treatment. can i take another one. ?

Yes: Yes, one is a narcotic pain medication and one is an NSAID. They should not interact. Chondromalacia: and the pain it produces is a very frustrating problem. The best treatment is RICE and anti-inflammatory (NSAIDS) medication. I must respectfully disagree with the use of OPIATES (Norco=hydrocodone) If necessary injection steroid/and or arthroscopy with debridement of the internal side of the patella is necessary!
