My dr DX me with chondromalacia in L knee. he gave me Lortab 10/325 if pain is severe. i took one. i have Mobic (meloxicam) 15 mg. can i take with Lortab

Yes: Yes, one is a narcotic pain medication and one is an NSAID. They should not interact. I obviously don't know the particulars of your case, but narcotics are highly addictive and the cdc has just classified narcotic addiction as an epidemic sweeping the country with more deaths attributed to them than even drugs like cocaine; so you would do well to consider other options. ...Read more

Will KT Tape Help with Knee Pain and chondromalacia my dr also gave me script for Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) 10/325 And im doing the RICE treatment. anything else i can do?

Will KT Tape Help with Knee Pain and chondromalacia my dr also gave me script for Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) 10/325 And im doing the RICE treatment. anything else i can do?

Chondromalacia: and the pain it produces is a very frustrating problem. The best treatment is RICE and anti-inflammatory (NSAIDS) medication. I must respectfully disagree with the use of OPIATES (Norco=hydrocodone) If necessary injection steroid/and or arthroscopy with debridement of the internal side of the patella is necessary! See an orthopedist with an interest in treating this disorder! Hope this helps! Z ...Read more
