Don't see it much: It is the trade name for Buclizine. It is an antihistaminic drug which has been tried in several medical conditions with limited success. No official rec but: CoQ10 naturally occurs in every cell of our bodies so it's not considered an essential nutrient & there is no officially recommended dose. However, I advise a healthy person take 50 mg/day of the Ubiquinol form (which is better absorbed) as a preventive anti-aging agent. Is it safe for me to take 75 mg of Benadryl? Each pill is 25 mg. What would be my maximum dosage? What is and what is not safe? I'm using it to sleep.
100 mg?: The margin of safety is quite high although you may end up with dry mouth and even constipation at higher doses. If Benadryl at 100 mg does not put you to sleep, it is unlikely that higher dose would do the job. Consider practicing better sleep hygiene (no bright light exposure a couple of hours prior to sleeping, avoid eating late etc). If problem persists, consult your doctor. ...Read more
