Take in am: Generally I instruct patients to take PPIs in the morning. If it is extended release or powder form take it an hr before your meal. I do not know of any medications that cannot be taken with PPIs, however some medications may need to be monitored more carefully if you take them with PPIs. I would say that if you are new to the drug then, I would recommend you not take it any more than once daily for the time being until you've checked with your doctor.
