I'm starting taking paxil, (paroxetine) lamictal for my GAD and non specified mood disorder and I want to know if there's any long term side effects?

I'm starting taking paxil, (paroxetine) lamictal for my GAD and non specified mood disorder and I want to know if there's  any long term side effects?

Liver disease: Paxil has a long list of drugs , including SSRIs, SNRIs, Buspar, Tramadol, Metoprolol, MAOIs, Phenothiazines, Abilify, (aripiprazole) Atomoxetine,etc. that are detoxified through the liver and so the liver function studies have to be drawn (Complete metabolic profile) at least twice a year to check this. I don't know about Lamictal but I would suggest the same test since it also passes through the liver. ...Read more

Both fairly safe,: Yet, i would tend not to use tegretol due to its potential for adverse effects, such as lowering sodium, causing bone marrow anemias, affecting liver function, but also raising cholesterol levels (which indirectly might harm the heart eventually).
