Possibly: It does sometimes take a little while for your cycles to return once you stop the pill. Do a pregnancy test to make sure that is not the explanation, and if your period does not return in 3 months then you should get checked. ...Read more

Yes: Sometimes there can be a delay in return to normal menstrual cycling after discontinuation of the birth control pill. I doubt it was due to the fact that you missed a few pills. Could be due to other factors, most common being weight (thin/heavy). If it's only been a month or so I would wait and see approach.
