This : This is not an uncommon occurrence while on birth control. Are you taking it around the same time every day? Did you miss any pills or were late taking any pills? If so this could be the reason. There is also the possibility that you are having some hormonal fluctuations which could be resulting in the second period. If this problem persists your doctor may consider putting you on a different pill with a different hormonal make up. Also to be safe check a pregnancy test.
