I just left the Dr. He prescribed me Lodine XL 500mg for pain in my surgically repaired ankle. Will this work better than10 mg percocet for my pain?
Depends: Pain is a very relative and personal experience. It may or may not be better. You will need to try things to see what works. Is the drug Lodine (etodolac) safe 4 arthritis and sciatic. I've read the side effects and it didn't sound good. Or will Motrin work just as well?
Tx for h.Pylori infx 6 mos ago, now peptic ulcer comes back after taking anti-inflammatory (lodine/medrol) drug for 2 wks. Is current flare-up due to failure eradicate h.Pylori or nsaid drugs?
No, it does not: Hi. Lodine is an NSAID called etodolac. Aspirin is also an NSAID, but there is no aspirin in any of the Lodine preparations. Note that aspirin and etodolac can have some similar side effects, particularly GI irritation. I am prescribed tramadol and lodine by my Dr. He also mentioned I can take Tylenol (acetaminophen). Is it safe to take all 3 at the same time?
