No, it does not: Hi. Lodine is an NSAID called etodolac. Aspirin is also an NSAID, but there is no aspirin in any of the Lodine preparations. Note that aspirin and etodolac can have some similar side effects, particularly GI irritation. For preop disinfect: It's the standard practice to use betadine soap/solution to scrub and paint to disinfect surgical site right before surgery so to minimize possible infection of wound/incision if not allergic to iodine. It does not numb the glans.
