I had a CT scan & an ultrasound. It revealed a 1 inch nodule on my liver. They also said i had a fatty liver. What causes a nodule on your liver?
Mostly benign things: In your age without a history of cancer, hepatitis, it is very unlikely to be any kind of cancer. The most common things would be cysts, hemangiomas or focal nodular hyperplasia, all are benign. It should have been able to be classified as a cyst by ultrasound, so it's probably not .Would get a followup in several months with a contrast enhanced mri. Free t3 was 3.5 3 mths ago now it's 4.3. Tsh and free t4 are normal. Can fatty liver cause this? I have a nodule can it be worse or cancerous or toxic
