Would a small dose of estrace (estradiol) used internally two times a week be considered safe for someone who has
had a full liver transplant?
You need to ask your: Liver transpalnt doc or the doc who is taking care of u know that ?, you are right 90%+ would stay in the vagina, but they would have to decide if the 10% of the small dose is too much to go into your circulation. ...Read more

Hx of metastatic pap thy cancer with hashimotos and rheum arth. Poss liver mass found on no contrast CT. Nausea loss appetite feel full..liver cancer?
Need evaluation: Hi. The liver needs to be evaluated and if mass is confirmed, it needs to be biopsied. Papillary thyroid cancer is not likely to metastasize to liver, so that history is probably unrelated. You should see a gastroenterologist, and have that questionable liver mass evaluated. Good luck! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Not sure if related but had gallbladder out 2 years ago and getting pain in liver area. Feeling of fullness near liver.Hurts when bend to the side ?
Good thought: It could be related but usually complications are pretty soon after surgery, not years. It could be a hernia from one of the incisions as well. Having someone look at it and possibly an ultrasound of the liver area might be a good start. This far out, however, it is more likely to be unrelated. ...Read more

New spot found on liver thru ct.Early bt show increase liver enzymes.Us show fullness kidney & cyst on gallbladder. What does this mean?
Hard to say: Have you had a colonoscopy? It is hard to say what the spot on your liver is without looking at your films... This could be a simple cyst, but if it is new, it could be a colon cancer (or other kind of tumor). You need a proper exam, including a colonoscopy if you haven't had one yet. If that is negative, it may require a biopsy. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
35 yo f U.Q ab pain/fullness esp. @night comes and goes Normal liver bw and ab us. Moderate to heavy drinker for 10+ years. Next steps?
Depends: It depends what type of blood tests you had done. If this was for a complete physical, it is most likely that they were included though. So if this was a primary concern, you should review your results with them for more clarification. The most common labs that would indicate liver and/or biliary status are ALT, AST, bilirubin and alkaline phosphatase. ...Read more

I think: you are CONCERNED about how much you are drinking! Are you describing BINGE drinking?? How many are "quite a few"????? However the liver is usually not enlarged by binge drinking (It can develop "fatty changes" but these are reversible if you do not drink in between bijnges. BINGES are unhealthy for a LOT of reasons! Talk this over with your PCP ASAP (Primary Care Provider) Good Luck Z ...Read more
Cbc all normal, alp 67, AST 17, ALT 16, bilirubin 1.0, exercise a lot... Upper right under rib fullness w/drink alcohol, liver disease w/#'s okay?
Recently my hubby had done a full check up on his health, all is fine except his liver enzyme reading shown 367! n he is still drink n smoke. I'm worry?
Alcoholic hepatitis: The meaning of 367 depends on which enzyme test this is for. If this is for the most common test (sgot/sgpt or alt/ast) then it means there is inflammation and damage to the liver. There are many possible causes of this, but too much alcohol is a common cause of hepatitis. Prolonged drinking with elevated enzymes leads to cirrhosis, liver failure and many severe (often fatal) consequences. ...Read more
Would systemic candidal disease show up on a full blood count test or a liver function test? I've been getting symptoms for a while now.
Had a alcoholic drink friday night was fine Saturday but sunday had fullness, bloating and pain when bending over in liver area is drinking the cause?
Pain in the liver: Hello ~ I certainly hope not because it will create havoc amongst the "sun-downer set" in the world! It sounds as though you had some indigestion of some kind. Try taking a bit of antacid and if you do have a heavy cocktail schedule in the offing, perhaps better not to indulge till this settles thanks ...Read more
Had full bloods done. Liver & thyroid fine. Everything was perfect apart from slightly low neutrophils. Should i be worried?
Probably not: 5% of people are out of the normal range on any lab test, so if you have 20 tests the average person has one thing out of range! slightly low neutrophils are seldom significant. This is a test that can change day to day so on another day it might be fine. But lab tests don't give a complete picture; some with thyroid or liver problems have "normal tests." perfect tests don't mean perfect health! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
