What are little red bumps on my tongue?

Red bumps: Can't be sure without an examination. Where on the tongue are they located? Are they painful? How long have they been there? If they're on the back of the tongue, they may be taste buds. See your dentist for an examination to be sure.

I have little red bumps on my tongue and they hurts, can you tell me where they come from?

Tongue Bumps: If the tiny red bumps on your tongue are painful, you most likely have inflamed papillae. Inflamed papillae are usually caused by traumatic injury such as burning your tongue on hot food or beverages, or accidentally biting your tongue. Smoking can also cause your tongue to be irritated and sore. A canker sore, or viral ulcer, can also appear on the tongue.

What to do if I have little red bumps on my tongue that are sorta hot. Could this be an std?

What to do if I have little red bumps on my tongue that are sorta hot. Could this be an std?

Difficult to answer: Based on your description. The tongue naturally has "bumps" called papillae. Papillae can get enlarged for a host of reasons. Best to be seen by your dentist or physician. Hope this helps.

Taste buds & PPP: Bumps on tongue almost certainly taste buds. Pearly penile papules, sometimes called tyson's glands. Can come and go, be more prominent at times than others. They are benign, normal and no need for concern. You always take and send a picture for our review & confirmation. It would not be sexting, would be for medical review and you remain anonymous.

Allergies: What are you taking for your " allergies that have been bad"? the bumps are probably from inflammation but you should see your doctor to rule out any infection.

Hi, I have a question about little small, red bumps on my tongue back witch smells bad, also from the other side I have like wrats, is it normal?

Hi, I have a question about little small, red bumps on my tongue back witch smells bad, also from the other side I have like wrats, is it normal?

Maybe normal: I'm guessing you are seeing normal circumvallate papillae -- a row of large bumps across the back of the tongue that can appear wart-like. They are entirely normal. Google it for photos to compare. If those photos don't match, best to see a doctor or your dentist. Whatever they are, I doubt they are the cause of the odor you have noticed.

I have little red bumps on the back of my tongue and they hurt what could it be?

I have little red bumps on the back of my tongue and they hurt what could it be?

Red bumps: I think that you are talking about inflamed circumvallate papillae, the taste buds on the back of the oral tongue. This can happen with a viral infection. See a doctor if it does not get better soon.

I have little red bumps on the bottom of my lip also little red bumps on the tip of my tongue also something that looks like a blister on my throat?

I have little red bumps on the bottom of my lip also little red bumps on the tip of my tongue also something that looks like a blister on my throat?

Questions for you.: How long ago did they appear? When was your last dental examination? Was there anything that you eat, drank or had taken by mouth that seems to be related to the cause of these problems. You need to answer these questions and then have the areas checked by your dentist to get a definitive assesdment of the problems, and appropriate treatment.

Salivary opening: That connective thing between the tongue and the floor of the mouth is the frenulum linguae and the red bumps on the side are the openings of your submandibular salivary glands.

Why is my tongue so white with little red bumps?

Uncertain: Your dentist may be able to accurately diagnose this. This can't be diagnosed with the information that is available. A history, physical examination & other studies may be needed to determine cause/causes. Once accurately assessed a treatment plan can be developed.

Help me please! There are small red bumps on tongue, with "hairy" tougne and red patches. What do I do?

See your dentist: See your dentist for a definitive diagnosis. Sounds like normal taste buds (bumps), geographic tongue (bald patches-red spots) and hairy tongue (elongation of papillae).

I have huge red bumps on the back of my tongue and in the middle of them have little brown dots (could be blood)?

I have huge red bumps on the back of my tongue and in the middle of them have little brown dots (could be blood)?

Might be normal: The circumvallate papillae are normal anatomic bumps on the back of the tongue, so you may be viewing normal anatomy. The surface of the tongue can change color (white, red, brown) as part of normal physiology. Google geographic tongue. Might be what you have.

The sides of the tip of my tongue hurt, like the sensation when you burn your tongue. There are small red bumps in the same area too.?

Irritation: May be irritation from irritating foods. For example, a long session of eating spiced sunflower seeds. Avoid spicy foods for a few days. Saline rinses. If symptoms persist beyond a few days, see an oral surgeon.

I been having little bit of dry lips and I notice my back of my tongue is kinda white and have red bumps as I see the 4. Any worries? Any suggestions?

Nothing major: Nothing major going on here. You are seeing your salivary glands on the tongue more than likely. Could have thrush/a yeast, based upon the white color, but if its not a scrapable coating likely non specific and nothing to worry about.
