Yes and no: I would recommend you focus on one goal of either losing weight or gaining muscle. It is hard to chase two opposing targets at the same time. Many protein bars,etc add FOS(Fructo-oligosaccharides). Is it used for adding fiber in their product?Do they provide same benefit as fiber from foods?

You do best to take thyroid hormone replacement on an empty stomach and waiting a while maybe 30 minutes before eating, but you were probably told that when it was prescribed.
