I realize protein is essential to health, but what is the significance of including it in every meal to lose weight?

I realize protein is essential to health, but what is the significance of including it in every meal to lose weight?

Eat protein: Your diet should consist of carbs (mostly complex), proteins and fats (plant and cold water fish are best). Our bodies use all three to maintain health. One problem with dieting is that our bodies don't like to burn fat. It's easier to burn carbs then protein and keep the fat stores for later (in case you starve). A balanced diet and portion control are the key to weight loss. See your doctor. ...Read more

What is a excellent recovery supplement after a difficult workout? Besides essential amino acids and protein.

Real food is best: After intense or difficult workouts your best bet for recovery is lean proteins and low glycemic carbs like sweet potato or berries. Try to eat w/in 15 minutes of finishing if you can. Protein supplements can be more convenient, but try to throw in some real food every now and them. Omega-3 supplements can also speed recovery and decrease soreness before the next workout. ...Read more

I read somewhere that sperm contains the essential nutrients(incl protein), so does excessive ejaculation(masturbation) deplete these nutrients?

Easily replaced: Your spit and or other body secretions also contain protein and are replenished with normal feeding activity. Masterbation is a normal part of human sexuality. If it becomes excessive it can draw you away from social activities where you could develop more as a person. That would be more important than the trivial amount of nutrients in ejaculate. ...Read more

Including essential Amino acids supplement (BCAA) would affect gout?
Is Whey Protein supplements & glutamine supplement safe for gout users?

None will effect gou: Gout is related to URIC ACID and PURINES, not amino acids or protein supplements. BUT, since everything you mention is a complete waste of money, why bother to ask? There are meds used to control gout in different ways. Low dose aspirin and thiazide diuretics tend to raise uric acid levels. Alcohol, especially in large amounts, often causes attacks. Low purine diets are slightly effective. ...Read more
