After every large carb meal, for about 1 hour i feel like i'm coming down with a cold = mainly constant chills. I thought food was supposed to energiz?
It does: You may be feeling the diversion of some of your blood to your GI tract to digest and absorb the food you just ate, making the rest of your body cool from less circulation.
Beans/poultry/fish: The best proteins are plant sources such as beans/legumes/lentils/soy/tempeh, seeds and nuts. Followed by fish, eggs/ poultry (the white part and no skin), then wild game, lamb/veal/seafood, followed by beef and pork.
