Tonight..137/53.. My blood pressure is usually130/80. I'm started taking felodipine ER 2.5 mg and lisinopril 2 mg, simvastatin 20. I got chills i'm 51?
Chill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!: Chills are one thing and if you are chilling you may want to see your doctor. Regarding the blood pressure, you may want to "chill" out! unless you have a very serious cardiovascular issue, don't be so vigilant on the checking of the bp. Are you having symptoms? Ha, weakness, numbness or tingling? Check your BP 1-2 times a day or 1-2 times a week and record and discuss with pcp. ...Read more
I take lisinopril and indapamide for high blood pressure but recently change my indapamide to metoprolol. Is this why I am tired and can't concentrate?
I started taking lisinopril march 12, 2012, I also take Norvasc (amlodipine) for blood pressure. I started seeing floaters, could the lisinopril be causing this?
Unlikely: If your blood pressure drops too much after taking both Lisinopril and norvasc, (amlodipine) it is possible to see 'floaters' as consequence. Check your blood pressure at the time when you see the 'floaters' and if it's not low, look for another cause - see an ophthalmologist. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

If I have high blood pressure should I take suphedrine i take 40mg of prinivil (lisinopril) and want to know if it's ok to take 2 30mg of suphedrine
A good med, but not: Prinivil (lisinopril) is indeed and excellent BP med, especially for diabetic patients, but it is not for everyone. A good medicine is the one that works for you, has minimal or no side effects, and must be affordable. No matter how good/expensive it is, if you can't take it, it is not right for you. So, is it good one? Yes. It is also quite cheap these days. Take your med, follow doc..Good luck. ...Read more
Depends: It depends on what vitamins you are referring to, specifically. In general, a multivitamin is fine. However, if you have a significant underlying disorder like renal failure you would want to avoid vitamin b6, which in high doses was associated with increased mortality (compared to diets rich in vitamin b6 which showed benefit). Eating a balanced, healthful diet should supply all your needs. ...Read more

I had a blood test done it indicated high bun and creatine levels what causes this and what should I do my creatine readings were bun 14 creatine 1.5 and est creatine 46 what should I do I also have high blood pressure and im on noravas 10 mg lisinopril
High creatinine: You need to see a nephrologist (n) and have a 24 hour urine for creatinine clearance and protein done. This will give you an acutal measure of your kidney function. If you have proteinuria (p), you will need to be started on either an ace-i or an arb to reduce your BP and p. You should also have a renal ultrasound done. You may need another agent to control your bp. See a n for more answers. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I have been on lisinopril 80mg a day and metoprolol 100mg a day for high blood pressure for a little over 2 weeks now..i cant sleep .and having panic ?
Secondary issue?: Neither Lisinopril & Metoprolol are associated w/insomnia & panic disorder as side effects. www.drugs.com (no financial link) serves as a great resource re medications. Of note, pheochromocytoma (http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/pheochromocytoma/basics/definition/con-20030435) is a rare cause of hypertension that could potentially be linked to insomnia & panic attacks. Good evening. My average blood pressure 24 hr reading was 169/99
I took 2 Lisinopril 10mg . Blood pressure now dropped to 114/71 in 36hrs ????
Confer with doc: I am very concerned that your 24 hr reading was so high but it's good that it came down to 114/77. However, my biggest question is where is your prescribing provider in all of this?? He or she needs to be informed of how high your BP was and I hope he/she was involved in the decision of you taking 2 lisinopril. It's dangerous for you to make those decisions on your own. Please see your doc!! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

If blood pressure is still 147/87 even being on lisinopril 20 mg once daily, should I be concerned?
Good BP on Rx?: This depends on many factors that you and your Dr. need to discuss. 1. Is your BP device accurate? 2 Are the BPs taken by your Dr. accurate-many are not. 3. Other problems including heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease. 4. Why do they think your BP is high? 5. Most people should expect to need 2 BP meds to get to goal 6.
