Read the label: B"sd as far as meds thiazide diuretics decrease urine and increase blood calcium. exforge hct (amlodipine and hydrochlorothiazide and valsartan) (amlodipine valsartan hydrochlorothiazide tablets) - has thiazide, plain exforge (amlodipine valsartan tablets) does not cause it to my knowledge. Had issues with Linsinopril and Norvasc currently on losartan/hct having nccp and anxiety since starting. Would Exforge hct (amlodipine and hydrochlorothiazide and valsartan) be a good next try?
Bp constantly 160/80 despite micardis (telmisartan) 80, norvasc 5, labetolol 50. Pulmonary htn with ckd, lupus.. imdur, diuretics not advised by md. Other choices?
