Why dx'd BPD by new pdoc?Every1 who knows me(7 yr bf,all friends new&old)is baffled.Im PTSD&Bipolar&USED to self-harm,but many yrs ago.No1 agrees BPD.
Ask the: provider who made the diagnosis which criteria were met. Is "pdoc" used as an abbreviation for psychiatrist or primary care physician? It would be best if the diagnosis was made by a psychiatrist or psychologist who has done a careful assessment using DSM criteria. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
What matters to u?: This is a question that will likely initiate many answers, but know that there is no "right" answer. What is ethical to some may be unethical to others. What is legal is some states may not be in others. There is no black and white in this subject, only gray. It is important to identify your values and make sure your decisions are dictated by them. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

My 17 yo son has purchased: Test 600c (testosterone), Tren 75 (Finabolan), Var 10 (Anavar) and d-Anabol 25 (metandesenolone). Dangerous? Pls advise
Yes, very!: If your son has "purchased" these anabolic steroids, in all likelihood, he is not under the management of his physician. Excess T from unsupervised use is very dangerous and can increase risk for heart attack, stroke, mood changes, etc. It can also render men infertile as well as shut down T production. Best to see family doc for evaluation. If he truly has low T, need to find cause first. ...Read more

Not uncommon: Insurance companies often are difficult to work with, but your current policy may not cover chiropractic, as many policies do not. First read your policy and ask for advice if some of the language is unclear. Also talk to your chiropractor, and get that office involved. Might want to also talk to the insurance doctor or nurse. ...Read more
My friend mmt(methadone) dr(not psychiatrist)rx him citalopram&s-valporate for uni-p mdd, its good rx?My psych advices bupropion on phone.Best regards.
Interesting issues: If you feel your friend needs to see an actual psychiatrist, you can encourage him or her to do so. If by "psych" you mean psychiatrist, you're putting him/her in an awkward position by asking for some kind of second-guessing on a patient s/he hasn't seen. If the "psych" (could also mean psychologist) suggests med changes anyway, it's ill-informed. His/her comments could also be misinterpreted. ...Read more

Please suggest a positive (work?)book to help: born w/adhd, years of physical/emotion/sexual abuse by parent, now has c ptsd, bipolar 2, & borderline.
Possibility: This sounds like an extremely complex situation that would benefit more from working individually with an experienced psychologist or psychiatrist. However, the mind-body workbook for ptsd by block(s) may be a nice accompaniment to your own more individualized therapy. Good luck to you. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Stage4Cancer(started in breast mid-late 50s female)do u think "Biotech nutritions-Pure Graviola 1300mg"gelatin free dietary supplement would help her?
Probably not: Stage 4 breast cancer requires a lot more than just a dietary supplement. Its very important that she follow her oncologists recommendations. If she wants to to try a nutritional adjunct, there are total immersion programs for cancer. Some examples are Dr Lorraine Day's 10 Step Program for Cancer Treatment and Eden Valley Institute of Wellness. These are both great adjunctw. Best wishes! ...Read more
