Been taking liquid Zoloft (sertraline) for awhile. Missed a few doses then when taken again at night, same dosage, I have GI issues. Normal?
Dr prescribed 5mg liquid Zoloft (sertraline) because I am very medication sensitive. Also doing CBT for social phobia. will I have any effects from this low dose?
Yes: Yes, it could. Most probably you start at a very low dose and he will raise it as tolerated until it helps. If you are "sensitive to medications", you may ask your Doctor to order Genetic Studies(usually obtained thru a swab of your cheek), which will tell all your Doctors how your Liver (CYP-450) handles medications to avoid adverse reactions. ...Read more
Taking liquid Zoloft (sertraline) for two weeks w/buspar, still feel loss of appetite and losing some wght. Anxiety is not as bad. Is no appetite normal?

Zoloft (sertraline) also requires at least 4-6 weeks therapeutic dosing for effectiveness. Work with your doctor on this, and please consider adding psychotherapy also. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
My doc has prescribed 5ml liquid zoloft, and 45 mg buspar (buspirone). I worry about seratonin syndrom. Is this a lot of meds?

As your doctor likely told you, if you do have to use both Buspar (buspirone) & zoloft together there is a risk of serotonin syndrome. This usually occurs due to combining these meds with other medications. It is important that your doctors know all the meds you are taking every time you see them. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
