Liquid Nitrogen Burns Treatment
Impossible: You had a burn from the liquid nitrogen which can happen. It is impossible to be allergic to nitrogen. Nitrogen is the predominant element in air so if you were truly allergic, you'd be long dead by now. Scientifically, you can only develop allergies to protein molecules which are organic compounds. Nitrogen is inorganic.See 2 more doctor answers
Layers: It takes several treatments sometimes, because each treatment takes a layer of skin off, and warts have many layers of affected skin, much like an onion, you need to kill off, then remove that layer of skin, to get to the base of the wart, for total removal

My 13 year old son had his warts frozen with liquid nitrogen however the skin around is badly burned. Pls help with best treatment option?
I had liquid nitrogen treatment on a warts on my penis, 4 days and the area around my wart is darker the wArt has not changed worred about color?
Recheck with doctor: If the freezing treatment was effective, the warts themselves should turn white then darker like scabs, and in a few days should clear up or fall off. The skin around might change color somewhat as well. But maybe the diagnosis is wrong? If in doubt, contact the doctor or clinic where you were treated.
I got liquid nitrogen treatment for sun spots on my arms about 2 weeks ago my arms have just healed but healed with these pink spots will that go away?
Yes: Generally the pink left after initial healing from cryosurgical treatment for sun damage spots will slowly fade over days to a few months, but often on the arms may leave permanent white spots, but hopefully they will heal with a normal skin appearance. Wearing sunscreens over the treated areas may help the cosmetic healing look better when it is done healing.
Should I pop a blood blister from wart treatment with liquid nitrogen? Its been 3 weeks, and if I pop it should I remove/cut all the skin has the virus?
Blister from freeze: Take a sterile needle or pin, and clean the skin, and then poke the blister and try to push the contents out, without ripping the skin too much. The top skiin is likely already dead and the wart virus is likely not active or alive.
Varies: Although liquid nitrogen is effective in the removal of warts it sometimes takes multiple treatments. I tend to try another modality if the warts to not clear after the second treatment.
Have a liquid nitrogen burn on my toes now for 5 days. Starting to have pain on top of my foot and is very sensitive. What would cause this pain?
Yes: Using liquid nitrogen is a very common treatment for warts.
Blister: The only real risks with popping a blister induced by liquid nitrogen treatment is possibly introducing bacteria that might cause an infection and possibly causing a scar. Neither risk is very great, but are possible. If you keep it clean, use an antibiotic ointment, it should be ok.See 1 more doctor answer
What is the best cream for residual lesion or hyperpigment without leaving any scar? I had freeze with liquid nitrogen.
Dr. Treated a sunspot with liquid nitrogen. How successful is this? Is there a chance of scarring? Can I try other remedies if this doesn't work?
Can work great. . .: Or it can leave a scar! Liquid nitrogen non-selectively freeze-kills tissue, hopefully only the abnormally-pigmented ones in your "sunspot" case. Lentigos, freckles, and similar sun-induced spots can be treated with liquid n2, laser, ipl, or other methods, but should not be excised (scar). However, all of the previous techniques can leave a scar if overzealously utilized. I would use a ktp laser!See 2 more doctor answers

What is best product to fade away the dark spot on my face cause of liquid nitrogen? Its been 10 mons. Now.
I had some warts frozen today with Liquid Nitrogen and they have gotten big painful blisters. How long will that last? Will they return?
Liquid nitrogen tx: The blisters will eventually slough off in one to 3 weeks. New skin will appear beneath the scab. One treatment may or may not cure your warts. Time will tell if you need another treatment later on.
Common: To blister after cryotherapy for warts. If a blister forms best to leave it alone. If it breaks, clean the area to prevent the possible spread of the wart virus. Avoid contact with the fluid, which may contain the wart virus. Often the blister will dry up over the next few days, and the wart may fall off.See 2 more doctor answers
A few days: After a few days it will crust over and dry up.
